Dr. Charice Williams is a highly skilled clinical psychologist with a specialized focus on forensic psychology. With extensive experience in both clinical and forensic settings, Dr. Williams offers expert consultation services to individuals and organizations navigating complex legal and mental health challenges. Dr. Williams earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Forensics from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Washington, D.C. campus. During her doctoral internship at the Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex in Butner, North Carolina, she worked within the Commitment and Treatment Program for Sexually Dangerous Persons and the Forensic Evaluation Services. In these roles, she completed federal court-ordered evaluations addressing critical legal issues such as competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility, and violence risk assessments.



Recognized as an expert witness in forensic psychology, Dr. Williams has provided testimony in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, offering valuable insights on mental health issues in legal contexts. Her expertise is rooted in years of work across various settings, including juvenile and adult corrections, courts,

inpatient forensic hospitals, veteran services, and emergency services. Dr. Williams is particularly committed to understanding the intersection of cultural diversity, social justice, and mental health, and has a strong focus on recidivism prevention and psychological assessments.

Before completing her doctoral studies, Dr. Williams practiced as a Licensed Professional Counselor across Georgia, Virginia, and Maryland, providing therapeutic services to a wide range of clients. Dr. Williams is passionate about helping individuals and organizations navigate the complexities of forensic evaluations and mental health treatment, with a goal of fostering justice, rehabilitation, and well-being.

Originally from Florida, Dr. Williams considers Atlanta, Georgia, her second home. She continues to contribute to the field through her clinical practice, consultations, and expert testimony, providing a unique and compassionate approach to forensic psychology. Dr. Williams is Licensed in Georgia and Virginia and also credentialed for interjurisdictional practice in other states under PSYPACT.
